Spent a couple of days asking a couple of our electricians for some input. Ended up asking one of our FSR Class A electrical contractors to consult and audit the existing system and compare it to a proposed plan for electrical demand. We wanted to work up a way to deliver a new 400 AMP service upgrade. That upgrade meant a lot had to happen including the abandonment of the existing service and infrastructure. From the possibility of excavations for in-ground service to an above grade option with a new power pole and the requirements to clear the old growth trees and their branches by a metre, install a new panel with 7’ height clearance floor to ceiling in the basement, to a new mast above the roof line to meet code.
You can begin to solicit warehouse contracts from local businesses and possibly even consumers interested in temporarily storing their personal property.
